We are dedicated to building a research platform for international affairs characterized by a global outlook, professional depth, and an open perspective. Through continuous research and cross-border academic exchange, we aim to construct channels for dialogue between diverse nations and societies, fostering mutual understanding and trust while promoting rational discourse and pragmatic cooperation. In doing so, we seek to make constructive contributions to regional stability and international cooperation.

Upholding the mission to “Advocate Peace, Foster Understanding, and Advance Cooperation,” the Center focuses on key domains such as international security, geopolitics, diplomatic relations, regional conflicts, and global governance. Through the publication of research reports, policy briefs, and analytical commentaries—as well as the hosting of academic seminars and dialogue forums—we strive to provide society with objective, balanced, and forward-looking analyses of international affairs.

Since its inception, the Center has launched over a dozen research initiatives covering topics ranging from security dynamics in the Middle East and geopolitics in the Asia-Pacific region to international strategic competition and emerging security challenges. To date, we have published more than one hundred research reports and policy analyses. Concurrently, we have established collaborative partnerships with scholars and research institutions across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, thereby progressively building a cross-regional and interdisciplinary network for academic exchange.

Looking ahead, the Center will continue to capitalize on Hong Kong’s open international environment to expand its research scope, deepen collaboration with the global academic and policy communities, and continuously enhance the quality and impact of its research. Our ultimate goal is to evolve into an internationally recognized platform for international affairs research and policy dialogue, offering profound insights that contribute to the promotion of regional peace, stability, and international cooperation.
